Weekly Photo Challenge: Street Life

We’ve been staying in the beach town of Huanchaco for the past week. It’s about 20 minutes away from the town of Trujillo and only yesterday did we manage to pay a visit to the old colonial town. That should give you an indication of how lazily our days have been spent recently. A life of lazing on the beach, drinking beers, and eating seafood has been pretty easy to get used to!

This picture was taken on our day trip to Trujillo and, although there aren’t too many people in this shot, it is actually quite a bustling town with beautiful colonial architecture and a lot of history. We were shown around the town hall by a guide we met in the Plaza de Armas and even got out onto the balcony for a great view of the square.

That’s about as energetic as it’s going to get this week – we’ll be back on the beach this afternoon!
